🎉🎉 IT’S PUBLICATION DAY 🎉🎉

Wow. Where do I begin?! I can’t quite believe that this day has finally come… I actually have my own book… WTF?! It still feels surreal 😅

A little insight into what this books means to me and what I hope for it to mean to all of you…

Looking back 6 years ago to almost the exact day today, when I dropped out of school due to an injury, I never would’ve thought that I’d be in this position. The day I left, I was left with a huge feeling of “lost-ness”. I had no idea what I wanted to do, let alone any idea of where to start. I proceeded to spend a few years dipping in and out of jobs but never felt settled or content with what I was doing. However, all throughout that time there was one key thing that kept me grounded, happy and healthy… it was cooking. Whether I was cooking food at home to simply enjoy the mindful process, creating delicious food to reap the rewards there and then, or sharing the love and enjoyment of this with family and friends, it always left me feeling so fulfilled.

Fast forward then to covid when I had just left a job that I didn’t enjoy. It was at this point that I realised that I had to move into an area which brought me true happiness. One which would have longevity. For me, this was a no brainer.. the world of food. I initially set out to work in a kitchen or food / drink startup, however, it was during covid, I had 0 qualifications and everyone was losing their jobs. With that in mind, I decided to set up my social media to act as a portfolio to try and give me that edge. Making food videos was my way of highlighting my love and passion for cooking and I certainly had no expectation for others to see my videos. However, with the way social media works, things took off and I was lucky enough to then pursue content creating as a career.

So, why now write a book? Most importantly, I wanted to spread the love for cooking to everyone. As many people as I possibly could. I wanted to create a book that people would cherish, be able to learn from and ultimately, be inspired by. Knowing first hand how powerful this love for cooking could be, I wanted to try and pass this on to as many of you as I could. Looking back over the finished book now, I can gladly say that I believe I have created something that will enable people to feel this, or at least, ignite that passion somewhat.

Secondly, I then wanted to prove to myself that I can accomplish something big. I never finished my A levels and I never went to University. That sense of accomplishment most people get from finishing education is massive, but something I never had. I continued to chase this feeling after school, but I never managed to find it, so, when presented with the opportunity to write a book, this was the moment that I realised I could well be able to achieve this in my very own way. A different way to say the least. I can finally say though that after the hundreds of hours of work I put into this book, I certainly feel like I have found it.

Anyway, I want to say one huge THANK YOU. Thank you to every single one of you reading this, because without your mere follow, like, view and love that you have given me over the past few years, I would not have got to this point today ❤️

With all of that in mind… I’m SO proud to finally be able to say that “Let’s Do Some Cooking”, my first (but definitely not last 😏) cookbook is officially out. If you would like to support and get the book for yourself or a loved one, click here geni.us/SamsEats 🙌🏼

The wait is NEARLY over 📚 Swipe to see a sneak peak of what you can find inside my book... Pre-order here: geni.us/SamsEats 🔥

All pre-orders make a HUGE impact as to how the book performs after it has been released. If you guys are looking to get the book at some point, pre-order through the link above ❤️

If you can’t find the book on Amazon or local book store, Waterstones do worldwide delivery too 🙌🏼

A bit about the book…

Each chapter covers a different occasion for cooking, making it suitable for everyone; a beginner home cook, who wants easy and delicious meals midweek after work, to advanced cooks looking for intricate and extravagant recipes for the weekend. There is something in here for all of you (over 100 recipes to choose from 👀)

A fun theme throughout - all the way through the book you will find some bright orange double page spreads, named the “from scratch” pages. As you know, I do get pretty carried away making things from scratch in my videos 😅 These bonus recipes show you how to take various dishes to the next level. Think…homemade authentic tortillas, soft pillowy Japanese burger buns, fluffy-charred flatbreads, fresh pasta dough and more..

I hope you enjoy the book and in the meantime… LET’S DO SOME COOKING 🔥🔥

In the meantime, let me know in the comments if there is anything you would like me to do for future long form videos 🔥

Hey everyone! A quick update on where I am at and what's to come...

Over the past few months I've been finishing off my cookbook (hence why I went a bit quiet), which is FINALLY now all complete - preorders are available here geni.us/SamsEats if you're interested in getting one. All support and pre-orders mean the world to me! I'm now back in full flow and will be posting up to 3 times a week on my @samseats pages; a mixture of 1) ASMR fast videos that you most likely all know me for and 2) Date Night Dishes, a new series that I am working on that aims to show you all how to create delicious and more accessible food for those special occasions. Some of these Date Night videos may have voiceovers and sections of me talking, some may not. It's a new creative avenue I am exploring for short form content on my channel.

HOWEVER, in addition to my short form content, I am also incredibly excited to share that I am back making LONGER FORM content again FOR YOUTUBE, alongside my amazing new team (Matt, my producer, and Valentina, my videographer). Together we're going to start creating 10-15 minute videos, ranging from restaurant visits, recipe tutorials at home, travelling, Q&A's and more... I have already begun filming these and I can honestly say, they're looking amazing. I'm so excited to share these with you soon! First episode is on Carbonara, where I go an visit one of London's best Italian restaurants, learn the tricks and then go back home to create it for all of you.

In regard to my food media brand / page called Crunch (some of you may have seen it over on IG), I will be starting to post more content on there in a few months once I have settled back into my own content. When I do start this again, this will be a place that will show you all how to make more affordable, accessible, quick dishes, with a slightly different presenting style to my @samseats content. This is a food media brand, so as well as recipe videos, may include a multitude of other food and rink related content.

Discord and YouTube community tab, where is this going? Over the coming months on discord (discord.gg/samseats), we have some exciting new ranking systems coming into place with some very cool food emojis to represent this. The discord and YouTube community tabs will start becoming more active as we host Q&A's, food content creator / chef residencies and more.. This will be the central hub for all things @samseats and Crunch, and will continue to become a place for all of you to meet likeminded people, chat all things food and drink, it will be heavily involved in the development and research for my channels through polls and will also continue to get exclusive updates and insights, like this.

I hope this gave you all a little update as to where I am at and I can't wait to continue this journey with all of you!

Let's do some cooking :)

WE’RE BACK!! Wondering where have I been? Carry on reading below….

🎉🎉 IT’S HERE, MY NEW COOKBOOK 🎉🎉 Sam’s Eats: Let’s Do Some Cooking. Available to pre-order now geni.us/SamsEats

You saw the teaser trailer in December last year, but it is now more real than ever. I can’t even begin to explain how I feel, sitting, looking at the final version after the endless amount of hours that have gone into it. Genuinely, it makes me so incredibly happy and proud, and from the bottom of my heart, I have all of YOU to thank for this. Had it not been for you, I would not be in this position today ❤️ More on my journey, how I got into loving food, and what this all means to me, can be found inside the book…👀

If you are from outside of the UK, YOU CAN STILL pre-order the book. Click on the amazon link and it will direct you to your countries’ amazon page.

🥐 What’s inside:

- Over 100 delicious recipes catered to all different levels of home cooks

- 7 chapters that are tailored to various occasions: Need a quick, fuss-free weeknight meal? Want to cook a massive feast for your friends and family at a weekend? Want to make something with minimal effort, but maximum flavour? Those are just a few of the kinds of recipes you can expect from the book.

- Exclusive “From Scratch”, double page spreads throughout

- Lots of kitchen tips and tricks to help better you as a home cook

🍕 Why your pre-order is worth it (and means a lot to me!):

- You don’t spend any money until the book is actually launched - no money comes out of your account until the day of release!

- Something I never knew: to decide how many overall books are printed, the team look at the number of pre-orders and base the printing numbers off of that. The more pre-orders = the more people I can share my book with across the world, so every pre-order helps me a lot!

- Pre-order from @waterstones to be in with the chance of joining me at an EXCLUSIVE SUPPER CLUB, hosted by me, in London (more to come..)

- The book is on offer on amazon! Any discounts that happen after your order, will be applied to your order as well.

So much love to you all! This has been one huge journey, and there’s still so much more to come 🙏🏼🎉❤️

What’s up everyone! So I’ve been testing a few different styles for longer videos on my channel since December last year, and now want to focus on what content YOU actually want to see from me. All of my shorts will still be the same / similar, BUT I want to offer something different and unique on this channel for the longer form content. Let’s do some cooking will also be staying in the shorts, don’t worry 😄

Which of these styles would you be most interested in on my channel (long form videos):
