The subject of my most recent upload, Anthony Agyeman, has falsely copy struck my video.

I will not stay silent in this attempt to censor my channel and the accountability that comes from my investigations.

I do not wish to falsely accuse anyone and I attempt to offer fairness to all my subjects, even previously giving too much leniency to my own detriment.

I initially reached out to Anthony for comment to include in my video and gave him 48 hours to respond. He claimed he would send comment, but failed to do so. I had changes to make to the video, which postponed publication for one week, during which time Anthony still did not respond with comment.

I believe that his goal was to stall me, so I went ahead with the upload. However, I included instruction at the end of the video to check the description and community post, to which I would add his comment after receiving it.

Instead of sending comment, Anthony threatened me with a lawsuit and falsely copy struck my video, putting my work and income at risk. I will not let this stand. Thank you to all my subscribers who have stood with me from the beginning and never questioned my dedication or motivations to exposing bad actors. This job is not an easy one, and my goal has always been to achieve justice or at the very least awareness for the victims.

Something I'd love to improve on is spotting liars. Does anyone have any advice on how to improve at this?

Some good advice I've already received is that if they're lying about something that seems insignificant, you should question everything else with a lot more scrutiny.

If that’s not good enough for you, so be it. My goal for this channel is to express what I firmly believe, nothing more, nothing less.

500,000 subscribers.

I released my first video on January 11, 2015 which is 3,201 days ago.

In the interim, I've released over 600 videos. Many have been absolutely terrible, many have been fine, and some have blown up.

In March 2013, I was interning for the Birmingham Barons making $500 per month and spent my last few dollars on a Sony camcorder because I wanted to be a YouTuber.

By 2015, I was finally ready to begin producing videos. Taking my camera to the gym and filming was weird at the time. Filming out in public was unique and new and no one understood why I was doing it.

In summer 2019, when my life seemed to be falling apart (from house flips gone wrong), I had a video take off for the first time, surpassing 100,000 views.

I was taken aback. For the first time, I felt like I was capable of being a "YouTuber".

April 17, 2020 - I was furloughed from my job due to Covid and was forced into YouTube full time.

Despite facing significant challenges in my personal life, I continued posting hoping to one day "make it".

I am incredibly thankful of everyone who has supported me thus far and allowing me to experience what it's like to have 500,000 subscribers and be a big "YouTuber".

I'm almost 9 years old on this platform, but I still feel young.

In what will likely be the toughest year of my life, I'm very proud that I've been able to overcome financial constraints very few YouTubers have experienced (legal battle), mental health issues, an aging channel, and extreme creative burnout.

But not a day goes by that I am not appreciative of what this platform has provided for me and the joy I get to experience seeing 500,000 subscribers next to my name.

3,201 days ago I would have done anything to be in this position. It's honestly a dream come true.

🚨 I’M BEING SUED 🚨

The video I released just now is the most important video of my career…

I am finally able to speak about the lawsuit that has dramatically altered my life over the past 24 months.

The person suing me? Derek Moneyberg. LOL. His name alone should make you laugh, but what I share in the video about why he got upset will make you laugh even harder.

I also reveal how much money it’s cost me so far in the video, and it’s an insane amount.

This is a SLAPP lawsuit, which is used by wealthy individuals attempting to silence criticism. I interviewed my lawyer because we also discuss everything a creator may want to know about lawsuits.

In my case, I released two videos - in December 2020 and February 2021 - that he wanted shut down so he filed a $2 MILLION lawsuit against me alleging four separate claims.

The annoying part about this case…

I DIDN’T EVEN SAY THE STATEMENTS.

I interviewed a credible resource about Mr. Moneyberg and that resource made all of the alleged defamatory statements because he trusted his sources (former students and contractors).

I’m excited to finally fully share this story with you all as I’ve stayed quiet about it for so long. I interviewed my attorney and we discuss defamation, Anti-SLAPP statute, what YouTubers should worry about, and why lawsuits are so insanely expensive.

I also started a GoFundMe to financially prepare for court and any help will mean the world to me. We can’t let bullies leverage the expensive legal process to silence criticism.
