A “Buhnentier (stage animal)” (Musik Theater) with a "timbre pulpeux et la colorature virtuose (a voluptuous timbre and virtuosic coloratura)" (Diapason), French soprano Julie Fuchs has established herself as one the most exciting opera singers of her generation; dazzling audiences across the world’s premiere opera houses and concert halls. Winner of two Victoires de la Musique prizes, and the second prize at Operalia, her repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary music with a focus on Mozart and Bel Canto heroines. She was second prize winner at Operalia in 2013 and was awarded 3 Victoires de Musique prizes in 2012, 2014 and 2021.
