Propelled forward into the sunlight by dramatic drums, oscillating synths, soaring guitar and layers of strings, Annie Hamilton’s signature blend of dream-pop and alt-rock is on full display alongside her trademark matter-of-fact yet transportive lyricism, as she tells the subject of her song “You cannot sleep, but please keep dreaming” - a message as gentle and hopeful as it is timely.
