Meet Pancho ..., an LA shelter cat with a cold nose and a warm heart.
Consider adopting shelter animals. Cats dont have long to live in a shelter, yet need v little. Many are not a result of greedy breeders, but given up as their owners cant affort to feed/house them .. and many rentals discourage pets, job losses, moves etc.
If you cant, consider donating to the local animal shelter...
If that's not an option, then consider putting out food and water in summer ... they will appreciate and you will have someone awaiting you - with joy.

The 45 MP Nikon D850 + monster Tamron SP 150-600 mm have arrived. Jul 17-20 Vegas + desert trip’s a ‘Go!’ tonight. Trains at Tehachapi (Sat), Route 66 till Crozier Canyon (Sun), and USAF's Exercise Red Flag 21-3 at Nellis AFB Mon and Tue.

TRANSAIR Boeing 737-200 (N810TA) cargo flight went down in the waters after taking off from Honolulu Int'l airport on Jul 2 2021. Caught it 2 years back as it taxied at Kahlua-Kona airport in Maui, Hawaii. Video at : https://youtu.be/tH5-YmXCQTs

Patience is key when there are no rail movements, and its important to not give up, just because the sun is beating down in the furnace like heat. Have a good chair, be hydrated, and keep a supply of fresh fruits and snacks.

Hello everyone... am back with a bunch of videos taken at 2 scenic railway passes in Southern California - the Cajon Pass between LA and Barstow, and Tehachapi Pass between Bakersfield and Barstow...Also some good airplane takeoffs from Los Angeles Airport (LAX).

Hello everyone and a Happy March... The seasons are changing, and we are getting the first stirrings of spring. I am v thankful to all of you for your continued support - both from rail fans and aviation fans.
I now have a 4K Panasonic camera, so you will see some good 4 K uploads, starting today.

I would be travelling to the following locations this month :
Mar 15-16. Going to Mojave Desert California to catch the fighter planes exercise RED FLAG with US, Saudi and other airplanes, at Rainbow Canyon.
Mar 17 : Traqinspotting at Tehachapi Pass
Mar 18 : Trainspotting at Cajon Pass.
