Wow! Without a doubt the best thing I've ever seen. What an unbelievable achievement. Long-time fans of the channel will know that I've followed @SpaceX very closely for nearly a decade. To see them succeed up against such incomprehensible challenges is incredible. So inspiring! Image Credit: @NASASpaceflight
★ New video tonight at 6pm BST. I share my thoughts and feedback about my experience with the xTool S1 40W. I completed a variety of tests and projects to give you a comprehensive idea of how the machine performs across different applications. Be sure to check out my video for an in-depth look at the machine and xTool's new software package.
Latest piece to come of the CNC machine. The Last Supper, Leonardo da Vinci. Carved into a beautiful piece of sustainably sourced beechwood. Rescued from the firewood pile, this slightly bowed piece has been transformed into something to be cherished. Finished with a single coat of Danish oil. #thelastsupper#davinchi#woodworking
Don't miss yesterday's video where I discuss my plans for the electronics and give a comprehensive demonstration of how to wire up and test the closed loops NEMA 23's to the CL57T Stepper Driver.
Don't miss yesterdays video! I've just finished assembling the Z Axis, marking the completion of the machining and assembly of the major machine components. The only tasks remaining involve installing and aligning the linear rails for both the X and Y Axis. My reasoning for starting with the Z-Axis was to use it as a fixture to align the X linear rails, and eventually, the entire gantry will serve as a fixture to align the Y linear rails. There's very little left to do now, and I'll soon be installing the necessary hardware to get the machine up and running.
