Why do people don't understand that marketing is not for free?

Why do the entrepreneurs don't run through the numbers before getting in touch with any marketing consultant?

Why they waste their time in search for the ZERO COST MARKETING that doesn't exist?

You don't go to an heart surgeon because you have pain in head right?

A story - Recently I booked a call with one of the top education consultant in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

The client wants to get 1 Lac student to give test to his test paper and for the same I made all the calculations.

After assuming CPL (cost per lead/purchase) of Rs 250 the marketing budget came out to be near to 50 Lakhs for 1 lakh participants to join his test series.

So after getting this number we set down for another call and then made up the plan on how to roll out this thing in different phases over 2 or 3 months.

After that we also made a plan on how to do upselling after the test series is done and what should be our conversion ratios.

By having this plan in mind and budget calculations we had 100% clarity that we are going in right direction may we reach the goal or not that's not something that can be said right now but by following these numbers we were going in right direction that's for sure.

So my only recommendation for you is that before you talk to any consultant or coach have at least rough idea of what you want.

Just don't go to anyone without knowing what you want to get from that person.

So before booking a call with your consultant or surgeon have a clarity that this is what you want and you are ok to pay X amount for the same.
