It’s official (as if y’all didn’t know already), The Henry Family is expecting another blessing or blessings in 2025.🎉

God truly keeps every single promise He makes to you, do you hear me? 🥺 All you need is faith the size of a mustard seed. From being a single teen mom who suffered through DV to a married mother of 9 maybe 10 is truly a blessing from God. I grew up as a little girl praying to witness healthy love and to have a healthy family dynamic. Although my prayers weren’t answered as a child, I can tell you that God blessed with something even greater. He’s giving me the opportunity to create the healthy family dynamic that I’ve prayed for within my own family with a man that adores me. You see, when you surrender your entire being to God, He gives you the desires of your heart. 🙏🏾But you must first submit yourself to Him wholeheartedly.

Picture 16-year-old me walking into Planned Parenthood ready to end my pregnancy.🥺


I had just graduated high school a year early and was getting ready to leave for college. This was my chance to follow my dreams and leave a life of chaos and dysfunction behind but how could I? I was pregnant. What a huge mistake everyone told me I’ve made. The only best option was to end it, so I could move on to bigger and better things in life. So there I was, in the triage room ready to follow through with my decision. However, I wrestled back and forth with the whole idea. But I couldn’t understand what my hesitation was. I for sure knew that being trapped with a baby as a teenage mother wasn’t the life that I’d hoped for.

Everyone in the office assured me that I was making the right decision. So as I changed into my gown and waited hysterical, I had an encounter with God. It was very brief but He told me to trust Him wholeheartedly. As afraid as I was, I never got dressed so fast in my life! The nurse came to tell me it was my turn and all I remember was running out of that office as fast as I could. 🥺

That was 17 years ago, and as I look back over my life I realize that my life is the epitome of a miracle.🙌🏽 Yes, I suffered many, many losses and disappointments but what I gained was far more than I could have ever imagined. That 16-year-old believed. She didn’t have much support but she had her faith. Faith the size of a mustard seed. But I’m here to tell you that mustard seed grew and here we are today, living in her answered prayers.🙏🏾

This is just a snippet of my testimony. However, sis, I want to encourage you to know that you too can achieve miracles after miracles, and all you have to do is believe.

Being loved gives me strength like nothing else in this world.🥺

However, I remember when I truly started to believe that I was worthy of receiving this kind of love, that was the paradigm shift that made a world a difference in my life. I used to look at other’s relationships and aspire for the type of love they displayed. However, I doubted that I was worthy of such love myself. After all, I just just a girl who grew up in the slums of NYC. I came from a family full of addicts and dysfunction. I didn’t know my worth and therefore, I doubted my value of being loved for who God created me to be. That was until I met Antwan.🥺 You see, this man loved me not only for the love I gave but for who I actually was. I was far from perfect. I had issues and oftentimes, I felt like the woman with the issue of blood in the Bible. A part of me felt like in was unworthy of healing and true love. It took patience and courage to love me beyond my mistakes and egotistical ways. But God. 🙌🏽 He was intentional when he sent Antwan because here we are 14 years later.🤎

Sis, I pray that I remind you that you are worthy of love. You deserve a safe love. A certain love. A joyful love. A love that feels like home. So wait in expectancy for what God is about to do in your life.🙏🏾

J E S U S, I just want to thank you!🙌🏽

My goodness, as I think back over my life and testimony I literally can’t stop the tears from falling.🥺 Tears of gratitude and tears of joy are flowing from my heart! I promise you, I wouldn’t be here present and alive, if it wasn’t for JESUS! I can seriously go on and on about where I came from but I’ll save that for the next post.

But until then, I am soo full that my cup is running over. I am forever grateful for every single trial because it has built not only my faith but my also my testimony.

I pray that my testimony proves that God is REAL and that you continue to put your faith in Him.🙏🏾

Being rich is cool and all, but it’s just something about being wealthy that hits so much harder.🥹 No, I am not talking about wealth in worldly things but being wealthy in the very things of God. 🙏🏾

Here we are, gracefully entering into our 8th year of marriage with our 8 blessings from God. Antwan and I are wealthy in God’s blessings and if God doesn’t do anything else, He’s done MORE than enough! God has saved us and restored our family and legacy.

It’s our prayer that you will be encouraged to know that you too are wealthy in the things of God.🙏🏾

If you would have told 16 year old me that this would be my life, I would have busted out LAUGHING in your face.🥺

I mean, if you would have told me that I would be here as a large family mom of 8 children, with my mother by my side, I would have choked in disbelief. My mother and I had the typical teenage daughter-mother relationship we all used to all hear about.😮‍💨 But God! God is truly a waymaker and miracle worker!🙌🏾 God has not only restored our relationship but He has strengthen our mother-daughter relationship from the core. I thank God for my mother!🙏🏽 What a blessing it is to have my mother witness yet another one of my births and to have her here during the first week of postpartum. It’s a blessing that I don’t take for granted. We miss her already. 🥺

However, we want to thank you again for all of your prayers, love, and support!🤎

On June 12th, 2024, The Henrys officially became a family of 10 and welcomed our 8th baby into this world.🥺 I gave birth to my 1st SURPRISED breech baby vaginally at home surrounded by family. Mr. Henry who I affectionately call Dr. Husband delivered our baby and did it with such Grace and confidence. This experience was one of our greatest test of faith. However, we prayed, and put our entire trust in God wholeheartedly. We praise God for being a waymaker and a miracle worker!🙌🏾
