My name is Jack and I'm a part-time solo budget traveler. I am originally from Thailand, but I live in the USA. Through an exchange program at age 16, I gained a passion for traveling and pondered the idea of recording my experiences for people to see.
Here you will find authentic and raw travel vlogs and travel guides. I will bring you engaging content that immerses you in local cultures and showcases the life stories and perspectives of people we meet along the way. Through my videos, I hope to inspire you to live your adventurous lives (outside of your comfort zone), volunteer and make a positive impact on underserved communities, and bring you valuable travel videos.

Koh Panyee, Thailand ๐น๐ญ
Koh Panyee is a small island community about 20 minutes by longtail boat from Surakul pier in Phang Nga province. There are about 1,600 people from 360 families permanently living on the island. All of them are the descendants from two seafaring muslim families from Java Island Indonesia.
Koh Panyee is mostly made up of huge and vertical limestone cliffs. The hundreds of huts, shacks, restaurants and houses where the villagers live are built on stilts over the surrounding shallow sea. No one seems quite sure how many wooden and concrete piles hold up this extraordinary community, but it's certainly a fascinating and unique feat of informal engineering.
The village has a school, a mosque, a health center, lots of small souvenir shops, and a handful of large restaurants facing the Andaman Sea. There are bungalows offering overnight accommodations. Worth seeing is the floating soccer pitch, built by the village children using old scraps of wood and fishing rafts. It helped Panyee FC become one of the most successful youth soccer teams in Southern Thailand.ย
One of my bucket list item is to play soccer with the kids!! I got to do just that ๐ซถ๐ซถ๐ซถ

The charm of northern Thailand ๐น๐ญ
When visiting Thailand, there are 3 major regions you should visit:
- North (Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Pai)
- South (Phuket, Krabi, Satun)
- Central (Bangkok, Ayutthaya, Pataya)
- East/west more catered towards local travelers, but tourist also can visit.
One of my favorite regions is northern Thailand. Northern Thailandโs beautiful, mountainous, and rugged geography is the region's great temptation. Hidden among the forested mountains are Thailand's most iconic waterfalls and caves, as well as whitewater rapids and jungle trails. The area is a playground for outdoor activities such as hiking, rafting, kayaking and caving opportunities abound. Lastly, northern Thailand is home to one of the most beautiful temples in Thailand (you can literally spend a day temple hopping).
Have you been to northern Thailand? ๐น๐ญ

All my friends and family knows that I love elephants. I consider them to be my spirit animal. They are fierce yet gentle and kind at the same time. Grateful to spend the entire day at the elephant sanctuary ๐น๐ญ๐น๐ญ๐น๐ญ #Thailand

My goal for this year was to cut back down to 170lbs. I achieved it this week!! ๐ซ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฏ
Back in December, I was 187lbs (after my bulk). I felt very strong but i did not feel comfortable walking at 187-190lbs. Therefore, I decide to go on a 3 month diet with rest weeks in between. I reached my goal today, and happy to say I feel comfortable at 170lbs.
In the future, I might even go down to 160 ๐๐ผ

Last weekend, I got to meet my favorite Thai volleyball player, Nootsara Tomkom, a Thai setter for the San Diego Mojos. Taking a picture with her was a dream come true!
When I was 13 years old, I watched her play with the Thai national team in the Womenโs FIVB, World Olympics, and many other international competitions. She motivated and inspired me to play volleyball.
Soon after at age 13/14, I started playing and practicing volleyball as a setter, just like her. I later joined the Menโs Division 1 Varsity team in high school. I also played in a junior league in Mexico and with a college D1 team in Dubai.
Though I am not playing, I am still a fan of the sport. I also did not know she was that tall! Iโm 5โ11โ and sheโs 5โ9โ-5โ10โ ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐ฑ
