August is going to be an off-month for the channel. I enjoyed the time away from the channel recharging my batteries last August, so I would like to do that again. I also want to be away from the internet and my computer as much as possible before I start school again at the end of August. Sometimes it’s good to disconnect and avoid all the online noise. Unless some crazy shit goes down in August (*cough* Kingdom Hearts IV re-reveal *cough*), I’ll be back on September 5th! See you all then!

Hello, everyone!

I wanted to give you all a heads-up that I'm going to be taking a sabbatical from the channel in August. The truth is that I've been feeling burned out from a creative standpoint lately. So rather than shower you all with a bunch of half-hearted videos, I'm going to step away for a while and recharge my batteries. My one exception to this hiatus is if any of the big three drop a noteworthy presentation that I want to watch. Other than that, I'll see you all in September!

Hey all!

So here's the plan for tomorrow:

I'll be streaming the Nintendo Direct starting at 6:45 AM PST tomorrow morning with a few friends. I was originally only going to record it since it's airing so early, but this is one of the big Directs. It's a special occasion and I have the day off work. I have no excuse not to stream it.

However, I have a personal matter to attend to when the PlayStation State of Play airs later in the afternoon (thanks for the super last-minute shit, Sony), so my reaction to that will come later. Aside from one thing I'm both interested in and dreading seeing, I don't think this State of Play will be anything special. Prove me wrong, Jimmy Boy.

Hey all!

I just wanted to give you guys an update on plans for the channel during June and what's been going on with me the last few weeks.

So, first, the good news: I got a new job! Yay! I'm very happy to finally be starting something new and get paid more to do it. Don't worry, this won't have much impact on the channel considering I would record stuff on my days off from my old job anyway, and my days off, fortunately, remain the same.

The bad news? I finally got covid. While I thankfully didn't get any symptoms that were really bad or required hospitalization, it still sucked. Even after more than two weeks, I still feel the after-effects of it. To make it even worse, I also pinched my sciatic nerve last week and have been dealing with terrible back pain since.

If you're wondering why I didn't release too many videos in May, the combination of all three of these events in my life is why.

Now, onto the channel updates. Due to my new job schedule, I won't be able to live stream tomorrow's State of Play, next week's Summer Games Fest from Geoff Keighley, and the Xbox-Bethesda showcase later this month. I'm not particularly gutted about missing out on the State of Play, but I'm sad I can't watch Keighley's thing and the Xbox-Bethesda showcase live this year. I love watching this stuff with Richard and Clay, and I'm annoyed I'm going to miss out on those things this year.

The plan right now for tomorrow's State of Play and the Xbox-Bethesda showcase later this month is that I will record my reactions to them as soon as I can later in the days they're shown and upload those videos the next morning. However, I'm unsure how to cover Keighley's thing since it will be around two hours long and I really don't want to watch the bits of the show that aren't the trailers. I'm thinking I'm finding a playlist of all the trailers shown and recording a reaction to them.

Anyway, that's all I have for you all today. I'm really thankful for you all who stay subscribed to me and keep up with the channel even when there are periods of content drought. I'm grateful for your patience and understanding.

One of Kingdom Hearts' key themes is the value of connecting with others, and I feel extremely fortunate to have a community that is willing to take time out of their busy lives to watch something I create. I hope you all enjoy watching the video just as much as I did creating it.
