The City of Albany cablecasts community access television programming on KALB, Cable Channel 33, and streams programming online to KALB Live! KALB is channel 33 on the Comcast lineup.
KALB supports community access television as a way for Albany citizens to share in the political and social life of their community, and as a vehicle for self-expression and communication. We are committed to airing Albany City Council meetings, as well as other important public meetings. We are also committed to helping community members make their own television program; offering technical support and airtime. Our mission is to provide a public forum for expression reflecting the diverse backgrounds, views, and interests of Albany citizens.
