"I like to write" is a catchy statement which you want to proclaim to the world. Does it mean that you like writing and love putting pen or pencil on paper? Is it an expression of your admiration for those who make written word look beautiful and artistic. Or does it mean that you would like to possess the power of words, converting them into magical potions or pleasurable treats for the readers? Or there is a fourth meaning behind it.
I've always been in love with writing. I used to write letters in rhyme when I was in lower grades and start writing poetry when in high school. Love Letters became my favorite then, but that's another story. The point is that I was born to write. I don't know if it's because I think too much or my thoughts are overflowing inside me that they need validation by putting them down in words.
