I have been married for over 22 years to the love of my life. My husband is a professional chef. My background is in education and kinesiology. My daughter also likes to come on sometimes and teach you a little ASL and show us a little glimpse into a teenager's deaf/visually impaired life. Our family has been so busy this month!!! I’m sorry I missed everyone last week. Elena was also sick with a cold , but is feeling better. We also have been busy volunteering at a kids party and this next week we are helping at a bake sale to benefit Seattle Children’s Hospital, which many of you know saved Elena’s life. Today get ready , because my husband is in our kitchen sharing an Italian family cookie recipe. Coming at 5pm eastern/2 pm pacific. That first picture is Elena, who volunteered at kids holiday party at the fishing pond.

You ready for tomorrow??? What are you making ? My turkeys are in their brines. I am smoking one and roasting one so they are in different brines. I ended putting one in a cooler and one in a bucket in our extra refrigerator. I can’t wait until tomorrow!!! I have been baking all afternoon getting ready. I made pumpkin and pecan pies. Elena made two different kinds of cornbread. We have one for stuffing and one that is sweeter for eating. I also made our cranberry sauce today. Tell me what are you working on tonight ??
