STORMLORD RELEASES THE ORCHESTRAL VERSION OF "MEDITERRANEA"
Friends,
we hope that you all, in every part of the world, are safe and well.
These are hard times, expecially here in Italy, and as musicians the only thing we can do is to play a song and try to make you feel better for a while.
So, straight from our archives, this is the unreleased orchestral version of "Mediterranea" (the original song is the first videoclip taken from our last album "Far"), arranged by our keyboard player/producer Riccardo Studer @time collapse studio.
Hear how the furious and straight-in-your-face tune you used to know turns into an epic soundtrack that, we hope, will bring some strength into your souls.

Stormlord have released a video for the song ‘Mediterranea’, the third single taken from the critically acclaimed new album ‘Far’, which includes ten new songs amongst the fastest and most aggressive ever composed by the band, with epic and solemn atmospheres and the best orchestrations they’ve ever conceived. The clip was directed by Trilathera (Folkstone, Fast Animals and Slow Kids, Marlene Kuntz).
We didn’t know what to expect since we were “far” from the scenes for quite a long time. To make music is our main passion, but we feel ready to release a new album only when we know that it could add something important to our past discography. This process takes us a LOT of time; we know that this is not how the music business works nowadays, but we’re fine with this. Our only target is to unleash the strongest Extreme Epic Metal attack on our loyal Legions of the Storm, and nothing else matters.
Before the release date of the new album, we knew that, out there, there was some people that was almost a child when “Hesperia” was released (2013), and that could have never heard about Stormlord before. Once again, we were ok with this, because “Far” is an album that make us proud. It was a long wait, but, from our point of view, it was worth it.
Then the release date has arrived, first for the two singles “Leviathan” and “Far”, then for the full length album.
And your reaction was truly overwhelming.
Your welcome back was so warm, loud, enthusiastic and beyond any expectations that it left us speechless.
After only two weeks, “Far” was streamed more than 100.000 times on Spotify, not counting all the physical copies sold, the hundreds private messages that you have sent us though our social profiles, the many views on YouTube, the roar of the crowd at our shows.
Now we know that we’re walking on the right path. We may not be the most prolific band ever, we may not tour 365 days/year worldwide, but we DO HAVE THE MOST LOYAL, CRAZY AND SUPPORTIVE FANS EVER! THANK YOU!
