A moment of real talk. Iāve been struggling over the last year and a half to find my voice again in this field. Iāve felt very uninspired making videos lately as itās felt like I have no clue what the audience wants, what the algorithm Gods want, or what I even want to sayā¦
Contrary to what I rant about on Patreon I do love YouTube as one of my jobs. I just hate feeling like I canāt be creative in it or express myself how I want to without the views suffering or people not being interested. BUT!
Stepping away to focus on my show gave me some useful space and insights for how I want to proceed with the channel.
So here are some updates for how things are gonna go around these parts!
1.) Weekly commentary vids will be uploaded onto my second channel (thereās already a couple posted)
2.) This channel will focus on researched, fact-checked, long form videos. This will be a once month release as those take more time to produce.
3.) Extended versions of all my videos, early releases of the deep dives, and exclusive videos will be posted on Patreon. As well as any livestreams I do on this channel.
I have no idea if this is gonna be what I need or what the channel needs, but thatās the nature of the game. Change an innovation or what needs to happen so weāll see how this goes lol

It is premiering this SUNDAY and I believe I'll be seeing a few of y'all which just makes my heart go "WHAAAA?!?!?" So ahead of Sunday's performance I wanted to share some photos from our most recent dress rehearsal.
Biggest shoutout to @weareshoefreaks for believing in our little project that could and helping us dress all these beautiful dancers. They have a lot of Halloween costumes, and it's where I get all my pole shoes (before they decided to sponsor our event)
