I started Kris Reviews to share my love of reading fantasy books, and find others like me. I thrive on exploring the worlds within the pages of a book. My reviews are designed to be short, concise, and able to be and understood by readers of all ages. I want to give all readers a quick and easy way to decide what books they want to read, encourage readers to try new books, or to revisit beloved tales.

How do you organize your bookshelves?
I am finally starting to film my bookshelf tour since we actually have some nice weather in NY this weekend... it's really made me realize how my bookshelves are a whole lot of chaos 😅
I am not one of those BookTubers with pretty shelves, all organized... I am a "I have too many books and need to make them fit any way possible" type of person.
I do try and keep series together as you'll see... but even that doesn't work 100% of the time, despite my best efforts.
Oh well, there is a method to my madness, and it works for me. 🤗

How should we celebrate? 🤗
It's long overdue that I acknowledge the fact that there are now over 400 of you in our little corner of BookTube!!!
I know I've said this before, but this time last year, I was ready to throw in the towel. I didn't know what I wanted to do with my channel, and I wasn't having fun.
Fast forward to 2024, and I'm having more fun than ever!!! I've made life-long friends and met so many wonderful people all through the love of reading. So from the bottom of my heart... THANK YOU... for joining me on this journey.
I will, of course, be doing a giveaway to celebrate this milestone, but let me know what else you would like to see. I put a few ideas in the poll, but I am totally open to new ideas as well.

It's official... Lola and I are DNF-ing this book 😪
I made it all the way to Chapter 9 and still have no idea what is going on. I can't remember the last time I've read a book that is so confusing. Maybe if there had been a glossary of terms (there is one for characters but that's not helpful).
So yeah... this is the first book I've DNF'd in a really long time, and probably the first time I've ever done it so quickly.
But I'm trying new things this year 🤗
I already have a new book picked out to swap in for this one... which I'll share later this week.
