Sorry to say, no video today friends :( I sat down to record it and the camera shut off on me a minute in! I didn’t realize until I had been “filming” for quite a while.

I filmed this while shopping for that event I mentioned a few days ago. I picked the blue dress, but it was too small on my body. The attendant brought me the red one to try, and I told her it wouldn't work for me. She didn't understand why, so I filmed this little video for her in the fitting room. Now she wants to get her colors done 🤣

You don't need to buy a whole new work wardrobe to be properly dressed for work. Focus on building a quality module that you can mix & match with other more casual items in your wardrobe, that way you can spend your money wisely but still be properly dressed.

I made a really dumb shopping mistake. 🤦🏻♀️
For MONTHS, I’ve known I would need to find new pieces to plug some holes in my wardrobe, but I’ve been putting off the shopping trip.
Now it’s gotten to the point where I NEED to go find items that work, and the pressure to find is them HIGH. 😖 By waiting until the last minute, I’ve made the experience significantly more stressful and unpleasant for myself, and I’m way more likely to buy things that aren’t right for me just because of the necessity.
This is a common mistake, and even though I always tell myself and my clients to shop “as if we were shopping for a wedding dress”, I didn’t follow my own advice and I’m paying the consequences.
