When God takes over your mind/life, it becomes impossible for certain things to dwell. Say someone did something to you for instance, and then you become angry. Many times, the corresponding act might be to hate the person, or say to keep malice. My dear, you will look for hate or malice, it won’t come. You want to get bitter but bitterness can’t find it’s root.
Not by your power but the greater force on the inside enables or gives a compelling that you begin to act in the exact opposite. Instead of malice the next day, you find yourself greeting the person. Instead of hate, you find out that you can’t hate that individual. Instead you are guided to cautiousness. You will then learn boundaries.
If you are not clear how you get to live this kind of a life, it is the Spirit of God in you. Wherever God dwells, He establishes His roots. You begin to see certain fruits- patience especially, slow to act when angry.
