Hello, everyone. I'm here with a bit of a hiatus announcement.

First of all: oh man, oh boy, oh gee, what a year. I hope that if you've been affected by the stress that this year has brought on, my music could help even in a small way. I tend to write music that's upbeat, whimsical, and calming because I want it to be an escape from whatever might be going on around you.

I've been releasing my music for about 6 years now. It's always been a fun challenge to come up with new melodies and jams for you guys to hear each week. However, I'm afraid I've not been immune to the stresses of this year. In fact, in the last few months I've found it especially difficult to maintain my weekly music release schedule with how hectic things are both in the world at large and in my personal life. So, this is where the hiatus comes in.

I need a bit of a break to give myself a chance to relax. I’m not sure yet just how long the hiatus is going to last. Ideally not too long, but I need to give myself ample time to recharge. Depending on scheduling I might even be able to complete and release a track or two before I actually come back, but it won’t be on a weekly basis like my normal stuff has been. Additionally, my Patreon will be closed for the duration of the hiatus.

I hope this doesn’t disappoint anyone too much, but at the end of the day I’m just a music-y cat on the internet. Even music-y cats on the internet need breaks every so often. On the bright side, yesterday’s track marks the 444th original music release on this channel! So, there’ll still be plenty to listen to while I’m resting.
