I didn’t want to make a big deal out of the new logo so I decided not to make a video like I did last time however I understand change is always going to feel weird. I really appreciate your continued support. For anyone interested, my reasons for changing my avatar / logo below:

-Old “Cartoon Igor” art is a fine and friendly representation of me as a person but it doesn’t set the right expectations for my actual content which is now almost exclusively inspired by indie horror content. For this reason the new pixelated distorted logo has a more indie horror vibe.

-Old “Cartoon Igor” art works as a YouTuber avatar / png persona better than a dedicated “logo.” The new logo is something that attempts to be more unique and recognizable.

-Old “Cartoon Igor” art only represents one aspect of my content which is it features a microphone for music. The new logo is representing music, games and horror. All three aspects which I feel make me stand out as an artist.

-This one is a bit more personal: Old “Cartoon Igor” art is based on me but doesn’t show much regarding my personality, my feelings, or my work ethic as “TryHard”Ninja. The new art aims to modify this. The headphones represent music. The controller glasses represent gaming. Most importantly however the melting smile and form is a nod to just how much work and quite frankly anxiety comes with doing what I have done for over 14 years as an independent musician and content creator. I’m not depressed and this is not a public cry for help. There’s just no getting around that what I do takes a lot of often times stressful work. I love what I do here but it doesn’t come easy. It’s not all laughter like the old art would suggest. I really do try very hard for both you and myself and that’s not always smooth sailing. This is something I relate to a lot more in the new logo over the “plastic smile” of the old art.

If you’re a fan of Cartoon Igor there’s always a silver lining. That art was supposed to be me as a person. I’m absolutely still here even if it’s not in cartoon form. Thank you so much for still being here with me after all these years as well 💙

Made a video and posts about it but you know how that goes. New subs, inactive subs, people that just miss things, channel descriptions aren’t checked etc etc. There’s only one solution, if you see a “this sounds like TryHardNinja” comment over there, please let them know Arcadify is my side project.
