Welcome to my channel about tiny living, self sufficiency and permaculture homesteading.
My name is Anders Boisen, and I'm a 36 year-old guy from Denmark who decided to quit the rat race in the city and go build and live in an off-grid house in the forest. The goal for me is to live a less stressfull life with a positive ecologiocal footprint. On this channel you can follow me on my journey to transform a small piece of forest into a sustainable homestead based on design principles from the permaculture gardening tradition. This means building a cabin and a garden that works in tandem by harvesting and circulating local ressources like rainwater, sun energy and compost from the garden and the house. It also means creating a haven for biodiversity by planting many different plants and perennial crops.
Thanks for joining me on this journey - and feel free to join the channel's growing community of free-minded people who also dream about a better way of life in this modern world.

A very merry Christmas to all of you here from the family residence!
In Denmark, the word for Christmas is "jul" - derived from old German "Yule" - where the change of season is celebrated with good people and a lot of food.
I'm very grateful for all of the support - and indeed for the thousands and thousands of positive and constructive comments, ideas and well wishes from all over the world! What a privilege! Hopefully, it not only benefits me, but also you all when ideas and knowledge is shared in our little, but growing community here on the channel!
I wish you all a peaceful time with family and/or loved ones wherever you may be in the world!
See you all soon!
Love from Borsimat and I

Hi everyone! Last week I released first part of my mini-series about my off-grid cabin-vacation in beautiful Norway!
However, I can see that the YouTube algoritm isn't really pushing it out to that many of you!
So in case you haven't seen it yet, IT'S READY for you! I really hope you enjoy it, because I have really put a lot of love in making it!
Also, I'm currently working on PART 2, which is more of a hiking-in-mountains-video (and I also reveal how to make mountain-pizza!)! Stay tuned for this one ...
Have a great monday - and see you soon!

(Hi everyone! As you migh have noticed, I have decided to change the channel name to English. This is so to hopefully reach and inspire a broader audience. But it is also to intoduce a shift in the way that I produce and convey my videos. To mark this occasion I will upload a winter- and christmas video later today. I really hope you will enjoy this new format. Merry christimas and a happy new year to everyone - see you in the new year!)
