Dear Friends, I wanted to share a little life update with you 🕊️

In the summer of 2021, I began struggling with some mild neurological issues, neck pain, headaches, and fatigue. I didn’t think too much about it, just tried changing my diet and doing some PT, hoping each year it would go away, but at the beginning of this year it got pretty bad.

After meeting with four different doctors starting in January, I was finally diagnosed with Lyme Disease in July.

Case and I were both a bit shocked, but very relieved to have some direction.
The doctor said we’ve caught it pretty late, which means there could be some permanent damage done to the immune system, but we’re treating it now and remaining hopeful. If all goes well, I could be back to myself in 5 months 💪

The symptoms have slowed things down a bit here and caused me to put off touring till I can function a little better.

That said, I’ve been blown away by how this season has helped me embrace the quiet and beauty of my life. I’m so grateful to have my husband, my family, my friends, the little birds outside my window, long walks, and a beautiful space to create in.

I’ve been spending most of my time in the studio getting lost in songs for the new album.
With very little effort they’ve started telling a seamless story all on their own, and I’m beginning to think it’s because of the quiet and slow pace of my life at the moment.

I can’t wait to start sharing pieces with you in the next few weeks 🕊️

In the meantime, thank you for being here, for your patience with touring, and for all your kindness and encouragement.

It’s a joy to continue sharing music and all the beautiful things I treasure with you.
