The Born Free Foundation is an international wildlife charity working throughout the world to stop individual wild animal suffering and protect threatened species in the wild.
Wild bears in Russia face many threats. When faced with these threats, terrified mother bears are forced to flee for their lives, leaving their newborn cubs alone.
These helpless cubs are taken to the Born Free-supported Orphan Bear Rescue Centre which rescues, rehabilitates and prepares bear cubs for release back to the wild.
We’ve all heard about wildlife reclaiming the world during lockdown, but have you heard that giraffes are doing it too?
The Born Free-supported Giraffe Conservation Foundation has noticed West African giraffe in Niger are ranging more widely and even moving closer to the capital city Niamey than they have ever seen before. You can support the rare giraffes of Niger by adopting a giraffe today: www.bornfree.org.uk/adopt-a-giraffe📷 Giraffe Conservation Foundation
How do you fly four lions half way across the world? While we are hoping to do exactly that later this year with our four former circus lions Angela, Bellone, Louga and Saïda, you can watch our Podcast to find out how we relocated the Lions of Lyon from France to South Africa last year.
