About the speaker:
Journalist and author Sopan Joshi grew up in organisations working on Gandhian thought. For 25 years, he has reported and edited on a range of social and environmental subjects: agriculture, climate change, water and forest management, technology, to name a few. He is the author of the Hindi book Jal Thal Mal (2016), which explores the history and science of sanitation from a social and environmental perspective. His second book Ek Tha Mohan (2017) is an introduction to Mahatma Gandhi's life and values for teenagers; Bapu Ki Pati (2018), a comic book-styled introduction to Gandhiji, is for junior school students.
The webinar will address the question ‘How can ordinary people draw benefits from one of the most extraordinary lives of all time?’. The talk will be followed by a Q & A session.
