Working in the video game industry since the late eighties, be it as a graphic artist, musician, programmer, designer, or any weird combination of these. Most of my work is known as a musician for 8 bit computers and game consoles.
I used to sign my earlier works as "Joe McAlby" because my name was just plain boring and ordinary. But then the nickname is also ridiculous... too late to change that I suppose!

Hi there! Hopefully there's still someone reading this.
I just want to let you know that I have released my first Bandcamp album with the soundtrack of Melkhior's Mansion - a free tribute game to the classic Attic Attack game from the 80's for the ZX Spectrum home computer.
This is the first time after 34 years doing game music that I release some sort of album in a proper place.
The soundtrack is completely original and made entirely from samples of my old Game Boy soundtracks, you'll recognize the sound immediately.
