Another update:
The subtitles are just about finished and the video itself is nearly complete (Patreon supporters will get an early preview this week). One thing that I'm really concerned about though:
-I reached out to Express VPN, a service we already use, and asked if they might be interested in sponsoring this video. They said yes and their sponsorship would cover most of the costs for filming this video (we had originally covered the costs with our last 3 months of money we made from youtube)
-The sponsorship portion would be about 4 minutes into the video where they're passing around the thanksgiving sides. While they're passing around the food, that part of the movie would move to the upper left hand side of the screen while we talk about our sponsor (see attached image).
-My main concern: a one minute sponsorship portion could put people off or throw off the rhythm of the video or take people out of the experience. At 4 minutes, I'm worried it might be too early in the video. Would you mind it if it came later in the video?

It's a big concern and a tough call to make right now. it also sucks having to spend 3 months of youtube money just to make a video.

We'd love to hear your thoughts on this. Thanks

Just wanted to give you guys an update on our Thanksgiving project:

I've pretty much finished all the editing it will be roughly 20 minutes long (similar to our North Korean bbq video). We're targeting November 15-17 as the release date, so yes before Thanksgiving. Just like our other North Korean videos, it'll be a combination of them talking about their lives and food. Based on some of the feedback from the wings video, it seems people want parts where they talk about their lives.

Things left to do:
-Fixing the audio
-Color correction (any color correction experts out there? Could use some help!)
-Subtitles
-Sponsorship portion (the part that is left blank if you look at the timeline -- about 7 minutes into the video)

We also managed to find a sponsor for this video, Express VPN, which is a service I've already been using for the last year and a half. I just reached out to them to see if they were interested and luckily they were. We had original hoped we could get one of the large poultry companies or Ocean Spray to sponsor this video, but none of those companies even took the time to respond to any of our emails. We had originally pooled 3 months of our youtube money to fund this video. If you're a supporter on Patreon, you will likely get an early preview of this video.

Also, the tentative title of the video is "Thanksgiving with North Koreans (2018)" or "Thanksgiving Dinner with North Koreans (2018)." We're thinking of doing Thanksgiving video every year with a different cast.

Based on our previous poll, you guys wanted another "Korean Girls Try" video so that's what we did. Most of the editing is done, but we'd like to add Italian subtitles. Any fluent Italian speakers out there who could help us?

Also for our Patreon supporters, you will get an early preview of the video! Release date slated for June 8th. Then we film our next video about tailgating (think keg stands, shotgunning beers, grilling, beer bongs, etc). Thanks for your patience and hope you guys really like it!

An update for you guys. We were planning to do a St. Patrick's Day video, but we couldn't come to an agreement with the brand we were working with and didn't want to compromise by doing their idea instead. So that video is scrapped until next year when we can hopefully find someone to work with.

Instead, we'll be shooting a Korean Girls Try video (which 47% of you voted for), this time with authentic Italian food. Let us know which foods you'd like to see and any pop culture references ideas you have as well. Thanks!

PS - Spaghetti and meatballs is American-Italian, not Italian :D
