Welcome to CADDAC's Youtube channel! We feature video and audio content that addresses an often-misunderstood disorder... ADHD.
The Center for ADHD Awareness, Canada (CADDAC) is a national charity providing leadership in awareness, education, and advocacy for individuals with ADHD, as well as their caregivers, teachers, colleagues, communities, and elected officials across Canada.
Through generous donations, our key programs and initiatives include CADDAC's Executive Functioning program, group coaching programs, resource navigator program, educational events, awareness campaigns and advocacy initiatives.

Despite being the most common neurodevelopmental disorder in children, students with #ADHD continue to fall through the cracks in our education system.
Most students with ADHD can be accommodated in a regular classroom setting, provided their teacher is appropriately supported by administration and has adequate knowledge about the disorder. With the proper treatment and support - children with ADHD can grow up to be productive, successful and contributing members of society. Children and Adolescents with ADHD are at risk for a variety of long lasting educational, vocational, and social impairments that are associated with the core symptoms of the disorder. If #ADHD is identified and treated in childhood and adolescence, there’s a higher chance for a positive outcome.
