TOPIC: WORK YOUR WAY TO THE TOP
SCRIPTURE: But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. (John 5:17)
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: There is no shortcut to the top in any realm of life; you must work your way to the top.
We live in a world where many people are looking for shortcuts. Many people cannot endure the process and patience required for the top; they want everything very fast. But it does not work like that.
There is no shortcut to success. There is no shortcut to the top. To Look for shortcuts to the top is to cut your life short. Shortcuts really cut life short.
So, there is no shortcut to the top in any realm of life; you must work your way to the top.
The Scripture is filled with people who were hard workers. God Himself is the first example.
John 5:17 says,
“But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.”
Jesus Christ made us understand that the Father is a Worker. The Father is working, the Son is working, and the Holy Spirit is also working.
1 Corinthians 12:11 says,
“But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.”
The Father is a hard Worker!
The Son is a hard Worker!
The Holy Spirit is a hard Worker!
Abraham was another hard worker in Scripture. In Genesis 14:14-16, when Abraham heard that Lot was taken captive, he armed his trained servants born in his own house and pursued the captors.
He was a little less than 90 years old at the time of this battle. He divided his trained servants, and they went out in the night until they fought and overcame the captors. That was hard work.
Beloved, if God Himself is a hard Worker, and Abraham had to work hard to fulfill his destiny, then there is no shortcut to the top. It takes diligence to rise to the top.
Remember this: There is no shortcut to the top in any realm of life; you must work your way to the top.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Make up your mind to work your way to the top.
2. Kill idleness and indolence from your life completely.
PRAYER: Father, I receive a fresh baptism of the Spirit of diligence. Help me with the grace for brutal and profitable labour, Lord in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: YOUR ACTION AND YOUR OUTCOME
SCRIPTURE: Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. ISAIAH 60:1.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: In life, outcome is the product of action. Where there is no action, don’t expect an outcome.
Action, the right action is a major pathway to life and destiny fulfilment. Your actions determine your placement in life. The right action guarantees your existence at the top.
In life, vision and decision are good, but they are not enough to guarantee our destination.
Now, I would like you to consider the following thoughts:
i. Outcome is the Product of Action.
In life, outcome is the product of action; where there is no action, don’t expect an outcome*. Positive outcome is the product of positive action.
ii. Effect is the Product of EffortEffect is the product of effort. Positive effect answers to positive effort. There is no effect where effort is lacking. There are people trying to see effect in life without effort. It doesn't work.
iii. Impact is the Result of InputYour input determines your impact. If you must make impact, you must release input. And where there is no input, there can never be impact.
Now, let me give you one action step that guarantees your existence at the top. It is called Diligence.
If you want to go to the top in life, if you want the above-only existence, you must embrace diligence.
Proverbs 22:29 says, "Seest thou a man that is diligent in his business? He shall stand before kings. He shall not stand before mean men." Diligence is the doorway to eminence.
Not just actions, but diligent and consistent positive actions guarantee our existence at the top. Where you will stand tomorrow is determined by how diligent you are today.
Remember this: In life, outcome is the product of action; where there is no action, don’t expect an outcome.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Embrace massive action to see massive results.
2. Be diligent and consistent in the right actions to sustain your existence at the top.
PRAYER: Father, thank you for Your Word to me today. I ask for the grace to be consistent and diligent in positive action so I can sustain my existence at the top, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

TOPIC: THE SECRET OF SOLOMON
SCRIPTURE: So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
1 KINGS 10:23
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Your wisdom is the secret of your wealth; people will pay you for what you know that they don't know.
In one of our previous studies, we saw that insight or revelation is key to breakthroughs in life. Before you can break through to your next level of manifestation, you need a new level of revelation.
The secret of Solomon, one of the richest men who lived in his time, was wisdom.
1 Kings 10:23 says,
So king Solomon exceeded all the kings of the earth for riches and for wisdom.
God gave Solomon wisdom, knowledge and understanding.
And what was the impact of that wisdom of God on the life of Solomon?
1 Kings 10:24-25 gives us the answer:
And all the earth sought to Solomon, to hear his wisdom, which God had put in his heart.
And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels of gold, and garments, and armour, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by year.
You see, all the earth sought Solomon to hear his wisdom which God had put in his heart, and as they came to hear, they brought vessels of silver and gold, garments, armour, spices, horses, and mules to him.
This clearly shows that your wisdom is the secret of your wealth. People will pay you for what you know that they don't know.
So, ignorance is very expensive. Ignorance is costly.
For example, every time you go to a lawyer for his services, you will need to pay for your legal ignorance. Also, every time you go to a doctor for the treatment of one disease or the other, you must pay for your medical ignorance.
So, wisdom is key to wealth; knowledge is critical to prosperity.
Remember this: Your wisdom is the secret of your wealth; people will pay you for what you know that they don't know.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Like Solomon, ask God for wisdom.
2. Deploy your wisdom towards the betterment of mankind and the advancement of God’s kingdom.
3. Ensure there is an area of wisdom or knowledge you possess that people also pay you for.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for fresh impartation of the Spirit of wisdom. I attract divine wealth and resources as I deploy divine wisdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.

SCRIPTURE: He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.
He that gathereth in summer is a wise son: but he that sleepeth in harvest is a son that causeth shame. PROVERBS 10:4-5
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To be diligent is to kill the spell of laziness and indolence from your life.
It has been established that diligence is one of the principles of effective and productive living. When diligence is in place, heights are effortlessly attained. Your diligent work takes you to the top.
Now, what is diligence?
i. It is brutal commitment to duty.
You are a diligent person if you are brutally committed to duty. Diligent people don’t exhibit haphazard or half-hearted commitment to their duty.
ii. It is giving the task at hand all you have got.
To be diligent is to give the task of your life all you have got.
Ecclesiastes 9:10 says,
Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.
iii. It is the synergy of energy and strategy.
Diligence is the combination or synergy of energy and strategy to fulfil destiny.
Energy implies hard work.
Strategy implies brain work.
Diligence, therefore, is hard work plus brain (smart) work.
There are people who work hard, but don't work smart. They work very hard like those who push wheelbarrows, but they don’t work smart. They don’t engage their brain to work.
So, diligence is the synergy of energy and strategy.
iv. Diligence is allergy to laziness.
To be diligent is to kill the spell of laziness and indolence from your life.
In life, there is no shortcut to the top. Whether it is in the spiritual or any other realm of life, there is no shortcut to the top. People who are hard and brutal workers always arrive at the top in life.
Beloved, it is important to kill laziness out of your life.
Remember this: To be diligent is to kill the spell of laziness and indolence from your life.
ASSIGNMENT:
1. Kill laziness from your life by all means.
2. Replace laziness with hard work and smart work.
PRAYER: Father, I receive the grace for hard and smart work. Deliver me from any spell and attitude of laziness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
