A multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter, Kadhja Bonet began taking music seriously while studying film production at USC. With a background in classical violin, she found music composition to be a gratifying and resourceful compliment to her storytelling appetite. Her indie records, The Visitor (2016) and Childqueen (2018) were celebrated by NPR, The Guardian, Rolling Stone, GQ, Complex Magazine, Pitchfork, etc. She has collaborated with artists and producers like Anderson Paak, Childish Gambino, Free Nationals, SiR and Khruangbin.

Inspired by afro futurism, existentialism and interdimensional travel, Kadhja’s songs are world building exercises with the goal of uncovering relatable connective tissues. A true texture nerd, she composes, performs and produces intricate orchestrations with heartfelt lyricism.
