Composer, producer and session player (guitars, drums, keyboards), writing commissioned music for various media (including film, dance and theatre), producing albums and continuously working on his own original material.
Sam’s debut, labour-of-love album ‘Blind Theatre’, was released in 2013 through Just Music. It would take 10 years to release a follow up: he went on to set up Sound Terrace studio in London (now Margate), producing many albums for clients while simultaneously setting the scene to write/produce his sophomore release, ‘Mantle’: a collaboration album with Isamaya Ffrench, released through Iconoclast. Sam has a Kontakt instrument tied to this album, ‘The Sound Love Lost’: available for download and compatible with the free Kontakt player.
His follow-up to Mantle was a solo album, ‘Rane’, finished at the same time as Mantle and released the same year. This features vocalists singing over Sam’s instrumental compositions: Lim Orion, Ösp Eldjárn and Sian O’Gorman (of NYX).
