One of the key actors of Houston's classical music scene, Chamber Music Houston presents a concert series considered one of the premier chamber music series in America. It features ensembles of exceptional international renown, from legends like the Tokyo String Quartet, Emerson String Quartet and Canadian Brass to young stars such as the Ebène Quartet or Artemis Quartet.
Thanks to the generous co-sponsorship of Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, the series concerts take place in the Shepherd School of Music's acoustical and architectural gem, Stude Concert Hall, a unique setting that enhances the intimacy and beauty of the performances.
Now entering its 53rd season, Chamber Music Houston is more than ever committed to sharing the joy of chamber music with the Houston community, offering Gallery Concerts at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, as well as various educational initiatives, in addition to its flagship series.
