Without a doubt one of the craziest things to happen to me this year was getting to meet both Tim Cook and HRH King Charles III in London. I've had a bit of time to reflect on it all and I've written a blog over on my website here: www.jacobsquick.tips/video/meeting-tim-cook/
I think this might be one of the most complex videos I've ever made, from an editing point of view. But I also think it might be one of my best. I don't think I can call it a QuickTip though as it's currently around 15 minutes long!
Apple have today released their first set of #AppleIntelligence features for supported devices.
These new features include clever photo editing abilities, powerful writing tools and useful summarisations to both emails and notifications. Whilst this is just the first wave of features for Apple Intelligence, there's plenty to be getting stuck into!
To mark this exciting day I'm pleased to be able to share a brand new collection of 22 QuickTips exploring all of the new Apple Intelligence features for iPhone and iPad.
Despite this channel seeming very quiet at the moment, I can promise you that's all about to change once iOS 18 gets released. Let's just say I've been very busy!
Watch this space over the next few weeks for lots of helpful, friendly and easy-to-follow QuickTips to help you make the most of this update...
You know what they say - a honeymoon wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the Apple Store! I convinced Sapphy that while we’re in America it would be the perfect chance to try the Apple Vision Pro.
We both had the demo and came away feeling like we’d had a glimpse into the future. Yes it’s heavy and very much a “first generation” product, but you can see where this technology is heading and it’s very exciting. Seeing 3D Spatial Videos in that environment is breathtaking - as is being able to work in the calm and peaceful environment of Yosemite National Park.
I asked for a chance to play with the Freeform app at the end of the demo too and that was particularly interesting. Suddenly the Boards you make on an iPad can fill the wall in front of you. 3D assets can inhabit the real world and you can organise ideas, thoughts and resources as if they were on a large display board in your classroom.
There is definitely potential here - I can’t wait to see where it goes next!

Sometimes a picture says a thousand words. Which is lucky, because after today I feel a little bit speechless.
