Poblete Cimarrón
Poblete Cimarrón (a.k.a Lucas Pavez) is a Seoul-based Chilean rock singer-songwriter.
In 2021, started his musical carrier, releasing the single "El Cuervo de Poe" (Poe´s raven), followed by his first LP "Rutas Perdidas" (lost routes) in 2022. Continuing that path, in 2023, Poblete Cimarron launched his second album, named "Historias y Lugares" (stories and places), complemented by the music video of the single "Entre Riberas y Montañas" (between riversides and mountains). In 2024, he released the EP "Bajo Oscuras Luces" (under dark lights).
Since 2023, he showcased in acoustic format in different stages and festivals of Korea.
His music can be defined as Latin Rock, but in constant dialogue with pop, folk. Nevertheless, the lyrics are the main pillar of his proposal, convinced that literature and music should work closely. That is how the listeners can find lyrics about philosophical reflections, historical stories, daily life, musicalization of poems, experiences, among others.
