section 66a of the IT act was struck down in 2015, in Shreya singhls case
But it was present in all new bare acts. and police were filing cases under 66A of it act.
But again in 2022.
In the case of the people union for civil liberties vs the union of India.
Again sc said that 66A of it act is unconstitutional.
And no FIR shall be registered under section 66a of it act.
Now it has been Deleted.
