This is the day!!! Only a few hours left. We'll be making the new original Assamese song “Manuh hoa” all yours.

Isn't the beautiful world being distorted day by day by the species called 'human (Homo sapiens)'?

Theft-robbery-looting, cheating, conspiracy, scam, abuse, inequality etc. still  could be as a degraded form of human nature; but this one murder after another, mob lynching/gang murder, kidnapping, rape - from sixty-day-old babies to sixty-year-old women, gang rape with demonic pleasure, then murder, killing one making one commit suicide and making a murder look like a suicide; husband killing wife, father killing son, son killing father, friend(?)  killing friend…ugh! Unbearable…can these actions be called humanly? Starting from people throwing their parents to live on the footpath at their old age, there are people who stigmatize the sacred relationship of a teacher and disciple not understanding the dignity of the same. Many humans have turned inhuman.

Dr. Hazarika said long ago, “If the devil one day turns into a man, who is gonna really be ashamed…”

Observing these changes, my mother Niyati Pathak penned down a poem with an appeal to ‘humans’ to stay humans. Every girl probably has a dream in her bucket list to fulfill her mother's unfulfilled dreams with respect to her capacity and according to time; maa had words and I did some tunes. That's why I tried to connect a tune to the poem entitled “Manuh hoa (Be human)” composed by my mother on 3rd December, 2023 early in this year and we planned to share our efforts with you. Though we initiated the project in February itself, it was delayed due to unexpected causes. But, finally we're ready to present it today on this auspicious and significant occasion of Rakshabandhan. We want to convey only this message through this song - “Ohh all humans, be humans; act like humans; don't let the human community extinct by giving examples of evil deeds…there are still humans, all the human-like creatures have not become inhumans yet..Inspire the new generation to be real humans not only successful ones with the light of proper education..

We, the team, hope that this musical piece will receive immense love from you all. I gave voice to the song and music of Anjan dada gave life to it and this combination of song & music was recorded in the H. M. Studio of Manas dada. Respected Nitul Patowary sir directed the video with assistance of Kan dada that was conceptualized by myself. Your dear fine artist Nirjuraj, darling comedy short film actress my friend Kasturi, dear actor Uddipta dada, dearest of mine my brother Bhavagopal, child artist Kanishka Kashyap Gayan, my mother & the lyricist of this song Niyati Pathak, my dear childhood friend Hitesh Deka, Nabajit Kumar Das sir and I have acted in the video with our whole heart & sincerity. Moreover, 3 other respected persons of my life - Nitul Patowary sir, Samin Baishya sir and my father Kailash Das have appeared in the video for a short span of time. Jon dada did the camera work and Gouranga dada worked on the editing. My sister-in-law Pallabi Bayan and Nirju have helped with the makeup. The poster and Thumbnail are designed by myself and Nitul sir, Kan dada and I have supervised the work till the final outcome. 

Besides, we're so grateful to Kabin Das jetha, my guru Mukut Das sir and respected Rumi Nayak baideu for their guidance in the audio when I asked for and to the Pohar Drama School, Barpeta, 503 No. Bilartari hati LPS, Starbelly restaurant for cooperating with us in the video.

ধুনীয়া পৃথিৱীখনক 'মানুহ' নামৰ প্ৰজাতিটোৱে দিনক দিনে বিকৃত কৰি পেলোৱা নাইনে? 

চুৰি-ডকাইতি-লুণ্ঠন, ঠগবাজি, ষড়যন্ত্র, কেলেংকাৰী, দুৰ্ব্যৱহাৰ-অসমতা আদিতো তথাপি মানুহৰ স্বভাৱৰে এক অবনমিত ৰূপ বুলি ক'ব পৰা গৈছিল; কিন্তু এই যে এটাৰ পিছত এটা হত্যা, দলবদ্ধ হত্যা, অপহৰণ, ধৰ্ষণ - ছাঠিদিনীয়া কেঁচুৱাৰ পৰা ছাঠিবছৰীয়া মহিলালৈকে, পৈশাচিক তৃপ্তিৰে দলবদ্ধ ধৰ্ষণ, তাৰ পিছত হত্যা, আত্মহত্যাৰ বাবে বাধ্য কৰাই কৰা হত্যা আৰু হত্যাৰ পিছত আত্মহত্যা সজোৱা হত্যা; স্বামীয়ে স্ত্রীক, বাপেকে পুতেকক, পুতেকে বাপেকক, বন্ধু(?)ৱে বন্ধুক......উহ্!! অসহ্যকৰ....এইবোৰ কি মানুহৰেই কাম বুলিব পাৰিনে? বৃদ্ধাৱস্থাত পিতৃ-মাতৃক বাটৰ ভিকহু কৰি উলিয়াই দিয়াৰ পৰা আৰম্ভ কৰি গুৰু-শিষ্যৰ দৰে পবিত্র সম্পর্কৰো মৰ্যাদা বুজি নোপোৱা এচামে তাকো কলংকিত কৰে......বহু মানুহ অমানুহ হ'ল।

হাজৰিকাদেৱে তাহানিতেই কৈছিল, "যদি দানৱ কাহানিবা হয়েই মানুহ, লাজ পাব কোনেনো কোৱা...."

আৰু এইবোৰ দেখি-শুনিয়েই এদিন মোৰ মা নিয়তি পাঠকে 'মানুহ'ক মানুহ হৈ থকাৰ অনুগ্রহৰে এটি কবিতা লিখিছিল। প্ৰতিজনী ছোৱালীৰ চাগে সপোনৰ তালিকাখনৰ এটা হয় নিজৰ মাকৰ আধৰুৱা সপোনবোৰ নিজৰ সামৰ্থৰে আৰু সময় সাপেক্ষে পূৰণ কৰাৰ; মাৰ ওচৰত শব্দ আছিল আৰু মোৰ আছিল কিছু সুৰ। সেইবাবেই ২০২৩ ইং বৰ্ষৰ ৩ ডিচেম্বৰত মাৰ কলমেৰে নিগৰা "মানুহ হোৱা" শীর্ষক কবিতাটোত সুৰ সংলগ্ন কৰি এটা গান কৰাৰ প্ৰয়াস কৰিছিলোঁ এই বছৰৰ আৰম্ভণিত, লগতে আমাৰ এই প্ৰয়াসক আপোনালোকৰ মাজলৈ আগবঢ়াই দিয়াৰ মানস কৰিছিলোঁ। গানটোৰ বাণীবদ্ধনৰ কাম ফেব্ৰুৱাৰী মাহতে আৰম্ভ কৰিছিলোঁ যদিও কিছু অনাকাঙ্ক্ষিত বাধাৰ বাবে গীতটো সাজু হৈ উঠাত পলম হ'ল। পিছে এটি তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ দিন - পবিত্র ৰাখীবন্ধনৰ দিনাখন গীতটো ভিডিও সহ প্ৰকাশ কৰিবলৈ থিৰাং কৰিছোঁ। গীতটিৰ জৰিয়তে আমাৰ এটাই বাৰ্তা - মানুহ 'মানুহ' হৈ থাকক, মানুহৰ দৰে কাম কৰক,  আসুৰিক কামৰ নিদর্শন দি দি 'মানৱ' জাতিটো নোহোৱা হৈ থাকিবলৈ নিদিব...মানুহ এতিয়াও আছে, সকলো মানুহৰূপী প্ৰাণী অমানুহ হৈ উঠা নাই, নৱ প্ৰজন্মক সু-শিক্ষাৰ পোহৰেৰে আলোকিত কৰি কেৱল সফল মানুহেই নহয় প্ৰকৃত মানুহ হোৱাৰ বাবে অনুপ্রাণিত কৰক....
