I am publicly posting my writing for the first time! I don't want to be too dramatic about it, I'm just posting it to Wattpad to try and build an audience, but I am excited about it and want as many readers as possible. Read now here: www.wattpad.com/story/380145696-land-where-the-red…

This is my first step toward a very different creative project than this channel. For now I am trying to build an audience in places like Wattpad but in the long term I hope to create a permanent home for my writing along with bonus Patreon content or a monetization model similar to that. If there are any fans of mine reading this it would mean the world to me if you followed me on this creative journey. An early audience will make it far more likely that I follow through and bring this project to completion. This will also hopefully coincide with the release of a book I have been working on for years, but I am not ready to talk much about that.

My writing is typically more serious than the humorous and absurdist tone you find here on my channel, but I feel you will notice a familiar personality and style. I don't usually write about normal humans doing normal human things. I write about things that I find exciting. Usually things that are dark, mysterious, and thrilling.

This first published story is called "Land Where the Red Moon Rises." Bob, a goldminer for the mysterious Pelican Co, narrowly escapes a mine collapse. But just when he thinks he's safe his circumstances only get stranger. The mining outpost around the mine has suddenly vanished, he's totally alone in the wilderness, and the longer he stays there the more strange things he notices. Can Bob survive this strange new world and get back home?

These are some crazy times people. Stay safe and take quarantine seriously. No one I know personally is infected except possibly my cousin who currently has a fever but is not showing severe enough symptoms to get tested. She currently doesn't seem at risk of serious complications so I'm not particularly worried.

Does anyone happen to know what the longest single YTP ever is? The longest one I know of is Fesh Pince by Krobo which is around 20 minutes or so.
