Meet our Gilligan. Of course we want to share his cuteness with the world, but I also want to make the world aware that parrots in general, especially caiques require ALOT of love and attention. They are highly social and become very attached to you, so it will be hard to stay away from them for more than a few hours.

Our little Gilligan goes into panic mode when we leave the room, he wants to follow us and be with us everywhere we go. He never stays in the cage, only for sleeping -for safety. While we are at work during the day, he spends the day in a play pen full of hay to roll around in, lots of safe chewing and foraging toys, yummy healthy snacks and fresh water which is changed at least 2-3 times per day. At night, before he goes to bed, he snuggles with us on the sofa under a blanket with his toys.

These are very high maintenance, highly intelligent, and complex parrots --Like a toddler for the next 30 years. Enjoy and thanks for checking in!
