Hey everybody! Some pretty bad news today. Webtoon, as you guys know, is branching out into Youtube and advertising a lot on the platform. All the series Webtoon comics we have dubbed, such as Mage and Demon queen or Meow Man, we have obtained permission from the authors from and we did our best to make them original with our voices and editing. However, Webtoon has striked two of our series dubs, and so we have decided for now to remove the webtoon videos we have on our channel. That includes mage and demon queen, boyfriend of the dead, meow man and others.

We contacted Youtube to inform them that the series were dubbed with permission, and that we are clearly not stealing copyright and are instead making fan based dubs, but they refused to move forward with removing the strikes at all, citing that our work was "clearly intended to abuse copyright", which I'm not sure how they would know since they threw out our claim.

TO ALL DUBBERS ON YOUTUBE: DO NOT DUB WEBTOON CONTENT CURRENTLY. I am not sure what their intentions are with this, since they never contacted us asking us to stop what we were doing, and the strikes were seemingly at random. I am really upset about this, since Webtoon itself is a platform for creators to publish on, and some Webtoons are fan series themselves, so I'm hoping all the lovely artists on Webtoon are protecting themselves and their content as needed, and that Webtoon will understand that we are just interacting with stories that we love. Please do not harass any authors on Webtoon, I have no doubt that they had no part in this.
