Reminiscing about our first family European vacation!
✈️ Every time you travel you learn something new - about yourself, and about the world around you.
Our first Europe trip was no exception.
✈️ Our little fam traveled through Switzerland
🚅 then we rode 4 trains down to Tuscany, Italy, where we met up with my extended family.
🚅 And finally we took another train all the way down to the Amalfi coast, just us 3.
Each leg of the trip taught me something incredibly valuable.
⭐️ SWITZERLAND ⭐️
… reignited the travel and exploring bug inside my soul.
… reminded me and my husband how obsessed we have always been with chasing photo-worthy moments, and sitting in awe of the beauty around us in this world.
… I have SO MUCH mad respect for the people who live here, because they speak three freaking languages😆
… stillness really can speak louder than the noisiest commotion.
⭐️TUSCANY ⭐️
… I got to see my grandparents for the first time since COVID began. Talk about tear-jerker moments.
… slowing down and focusing on being present can bring you some of the most precious memories.
⭐️AMALFI COAST⭐️
… The beach is the best medicine.
… Finding places and people that make you feel pure peace is critical in this day and age, where everything is so rushed.
… You can totally live without a phone. 🥴 it’s just really really hard lol.
