We've got a great new episode dropping later this week, on the Domus Aurea, on the occasion of a new exhibit on Isis. In the meantime, check out ‪@DariusArya‬ who has just relaunched his YouTube channel. You will see a lot of content that complements our own work on Rome and throughout the Empire. It has its own unique vibe, and we think you will enjoy his "Traveling Through Time" episodes. Check out the first video! (and check out his new trailer!)

Both of these videos highlight important finds from the Roman world. You can further enjoy and learn by watching the Museo Nazionale Romano museum series as well as the playlist on Pompeii and related sites. Our newest video is on Butrint, a spectacular site in southern Albania. It is a UNESCO world heritage site- and deservedly so. @dariusarya spent part of this past spring exploring the entire country. So, we will share some of his travels on our channel. You can expect more over at ‪@DariusArya‬ in the near future. Butrint is worth knowing, for its own rich history, but also as a way to become familiar with some important moments in Roman history. We hope you enjoy the video. Please give us feedback!

If you don't know us that well, please be sure to peruse our various playlists. Today's newest video is about the new archaeological excavations, as well as new archaeological exhibits, and museums (Museo Ninfeo) and newly installed pieces (Palatine Museum). You'll see that there's a lot going on, a lot more on display, a lot of real digging and discovery. All of the footage is from throughout 2023, except for the footage of the Via Alessandrina excavation, which began in 2018. That is one of the main things we are excited to share. Not just a view of a site in Rome, but a glimpse of the archaeological process. The video is part of a larger playlist series on excavations in Rome, going back to 2014. Have a look!
Regarding the previous video on Sex in the Ancient World, we are disappointed that viewing of the video has been limited (18 years old and up rating) by Youtube. We appealed, without success. We will soon delete the video and reload is with some censored/ blurred images - hopefully to appeal to the YT process. We stand behind our storytelling and academic knowledge, and don't apologize for any of the content. (At the outset, we always label our videos as "not for kids". We'll see what happens when we reload the content in the near future. Thanks for your support and comments!
