RAMENGVRL
Ramengvrl is a Jakarta-born and raised musician who traded in her parent's hope for a conservative career, with the pursuit of being an artist. Going from strength to strength, Ramengvrl is now widely considered among the region's most promising talents.
Her breakthrough song 'CASHMERE' led her to win the award for best hip-hop song in 2019 at the Indonesian Music Awards, recently ‘Vaseline’ win the award for best hip-hop song in 2021 at the Indonesia Music Awards. Since then she was featured in the official soundtrack for Need For Speed, named in Forbes covered 30 under 30, landed on the cover of ELLE magazine and worked with brands such as Samsung and Porsche.
She released her debut album 'Can't Speak English' via US-based Empire in 2020, through which she collaborated with the likes of Ted Park, Pyra, Euro and Inayah. Now she's penned a partnership with Warner Music, marked by the release of her new single 'I'm Ugly'.
