The music video for ‘SAME OLD SORRY‘ is yours now 🥀

I chose to do a music video for the acoustic version instead of the produced one, to keep the emotions as raw and honest as possible and to show how I felt when this relationship ended. I did not only want to show my vulnerability and pain through my music but also through a visual interpretation. If you know my other music videos, this is the first one where I don’t lip-sync and where I let the music and lyrics speak for themselves. Mental pain is often not visible to the eye, but physical is. I hope this song and music video are as much of a safe space to you as they are to me!

Big thanks to my friends over at Plot Twist Productions for helping me create this vision for the music video. The makeup was done by my amazing friend Janina Preininger and the incredibly talented actor along my side is Anton Schneider. The piano you hear was played by Gerrit Arnold, co-written by Ashley Parris and me. Produced by Joseph Feinstein & Gerrit Arnold! Thank you all for making this happen!

Never let your own worth be determined by someone else... so many times along my journey people have told me I can’t reach whatever I set my mind to and tried talking me out of it. “stop dreaming”, “you’ll never get there”, “you’re not good enough” etc. It’s tough when people underestimate you and don’t even give you a chance to prove what you’re capable of.

I want to be that other person who tells you to go for it with everything you have, take risks and just do whatever the f*ck your heart wants. And don’t you dare giving up on yourself - oh I promise it’s going to be hard and there will be times when you just want to quit, but you need to find something to keep on keeping on. If you can’t do it for you, then do it for me. We’re in this together and I will support you as much as I can 🖤👊
