Toronto native Marty Bernie (he/him) has made a splash in the electronic music scene as Pusher, mixing influences of Trap, Pop, 90’s R&B, Jazz, and much more into his “shiny colourful” sound that brings punchy percussion and evocative vocals together by way of sunny synths and boisterous bass lines to build albums around new worlds. His EPs “New Laces” (2016) and “Paperman” (2018) have received tremendous support from tastemakers and press including Majestic Casual, Cloudkid, Billboard, Paper Mag, Stereogum and YourEDM.
