📦 Today, we’re taking 15 minutes to declutter and organize our food storage containers.

✅ Follow me @this_capsule_kitchen to drastically simplify your kitchen and cook from home in 2025 ✨

➡️ Remember, we’re decluttering TO organize. Organizing without first decluttering can be a huge waste of time.

Let go of damaged containers or those missing a lid.

👇🏼
If you’re heating up food in your containers, consider swapping plastic for glass. Repurpose your plastic containers for small tools or toys around the house.

👇🏼
If you feel like you’re always missing tops to containers, store them with the lids on. It will help you control the level inventory (they take up more room with the lids on), and you wont have misplaced tops anymore.

🤍 Keep in mind that what’s clutter to someone else might be add value for you, and vice versa.

✨ This is a no judgment zone. If it doesn’t add value for you, get it gone in 2025. ✨

📦 As always, if you’re not sure about something, take it OUT of your kitchen and put it in a 6 month bin. Put the date on the bin, as well as the date 6 months from now. If you don’t reach for it in all that time, give yourself permission to let it go!

Happy Thanksgiving, friends 🤍 this is my favorite holiday because it’s all about taking time to share a meal and enjoy each other’s company. No gift giving, just spending time and devouring comfort food. I brought corn bread (I bring it every year) and enjoyed watching my daughter play with the rest of the kids today.

I’m thankful for family, friends, and the opportunity to share about what I love - home cooking and minimalism - with you.
