Here's another tip for the tool shed. Hope it is helpful. Obviously not the best knot but I've found it to be quick and easy to remember. As others in the comments have already mentioned, a bowline works great for this application. Let me know what knot you like to use.

A lot of people have asked for an easier way to watch the shorts without having to click on all of them. So I compiled them into a single long form. I'll make a vol.2 about mid year 2025. I hope this helps! Also, I'm slowly working on longer form content. I'll see you in a few days...

Hey ya'll, as you can see from previous videos, I've changed hats. I searched for a long time since I wear a size 8 in hats and most manufactures don't go up to that size. Up until now, I've had to go full custom. Well, I finally found a great American company called American Hat Makers. They have a couple of models that go up to a size 8. The Crusher, which is what I'm wearing in the photos, and also the Midnight Rider which is in my avatar. I own both and will be switching back and forth through videos. Right now they are having a sale 13% off site-wide with code: GETAHM13

Hope you can find one that you really like. Let me know if you pick one up and which one you went with.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Here is a pot hanging method that uses zero cordage. Let me know how you would improve this. Do you think it can it be modified to work for something else around camp? Let me know your thoughts and ideas!

Let me know your thoughts on this topic. Sharpening techniques are very different for everybody. Crafting ways to make it more enjoyable or challenging is something I enjoy working on. Can you think of a way to improve this technique in the video? Did it frustrate you and seem like a waste of time? Let me know in the comments what you would do different.

Hope your weekend is going great.

Picked up a winnerwell woodlander in large with the double view. Did the initial burn in this evening. So far so good. Bought a packaged deal and got some other accessories to go with it. Hot tent video coming soon.

I hope everyone is having a great week so far! Busy week here creating content. I posted a few knot and hitch videos last week. With shorts moving to 3 minutes this week, I should be able to squeeze in more information in future videos.

I've been out of town a few days helping with the hurricane relief efforts. I'm about 2 hours east of Asheville from the destruction. It's terrible. The videos online don't even come close. I'm back this week and working on videos. It looks like YouTube has also dropped a cool new feature starting October 15th. Shorts will have the ability to be up to 3 minutes. That means I can finally show more during each video without having to leave out key points. I'm super stoked about it. Also, we've picked up a few sponsors along the way. One of those being Lowes Home Improvement. I'll be releasing a video soon showing a great outdoor product they sell for camping. That video will be in the next week or two.

I hope everyone has a great week ahead!

A lot of people have asked about our highest growth so far. I believe July had the highest stats since the channel took off in May of this year. If you're looking for more insight or have questions, please just ask. I appreciate every single person who has helped build this community. Ya'll are the ones who make this a well oiled machine. Looking forward to the fall season, my favorite. Camping is on the horizon.

On average, how often do you find yourself having to sharpen your axe/hatchet? What technique and tools do you use? Do you use a specific oil that has worked for you over the years? Let me know in the comments.
