I'm not sure if any of you are members of the recording academy or have friends/family who are, but it is once again Grammy season and if you have any connection to the Grammys at all and are voting this year, I hope you'll consider our releases in the Jazz and Arranging categories this year from "Game Changer"!!

Ok but wow this new track from Kazuki Katsuta (the Mario Kart sax player) is WILD!! Definitely check more of his stuff out he can do a lot more than play the mario kart lick he's an incredible musician and sax player!!

Hey friends! In some 8bbb tangential news I’m so incredibly honored to have been asked by my buddies at The Living Tombstone to help them celebrate the 10th anniversary of their iconic track by arranging and producing this FULL 70 PIECE ORCHESTRA AND CHOIR version of the song!

It’s always an incredible thrill to write music for an ensemble of this size, not to mention stand in front of the ensemble, wave my hands in the air, and feel the force of this many incredible musicians wash over you!

Yo friends!! Was getting back to my roots as a good old fashioned side musician bass player at MAGFest this year playing with Dom Palombi's Game Night and it was a killer set!! If you like Jazz fusion and Video Game Music (and I feel like some of you probably do given what channel you're subscribed too haha) you should check out his band! Some really killing musicians and arrangements!

IT'S MAHVEL BABY!! “I Wanna Take You for a Ride” ft. Lawrence FULL VIDEO NOW ON YOUTUBE!

So excited to finally drop this video of "I Wanna Take You for a Ride" aka the character select screen from Marvel vs Capcom 2. This track is based on the original 8 second loop that plays from that game, but expanded with additional music and lyrics as if it were a FULL SONG. I loved listening to the original loop so much that I couldn't help but imagine what it would be like if the iconic vocal loop would be if it were the chorus of a full length song, so I asked my dear friends from the great band Lawrence (check them out if you don't know em) to come in an help me co-compose the rest of the imaginary tune, and this is the incredible result!

Clyde Lawrence, who wrote the lyrics, did an amazing job incorporating some great references to the MvC2 game and community itself!!

I also couldn't help myself as an arranger but draw countless funky easter eggs from one of the greatest horn bands of all time "Tower of Power" see how many you can catch!!
