National Girl Child Day is celebrated in the country on January 24 every year with an objective to provide support and opportunities to the girls of India. It aims towards promoting awareness about the rights of the girl child and to increase awareness on the importance of girl education, and their health and nutrition and also to promote the girls position in the society to make their living better among the society. Gender discrimination is a major problem that girls or women face throughout their life. National Girl Child Day was first initiated in 2008 by the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Harvest Secures All India 8th Rank in 56th National Maths Talent Competition - 2024

The management of Harvest Group of Educational Institutions announced on Monday that their student secured the All India 8th rank in the prestigious National Maths Talent Competition (NMTC), conducted annually by the Association of Mathematics Teachers of India (AMTI).

According to the announcement, their student, M. Dhanvitha, a 10th-grade student, performed exceptionally well in both levels of the NMTC conducted by AMTI on December 1st. She secured the All India 8th rank in the senior category. The management further stated that she was selected in the first level and achieved outstanding success in the second level as well.

On Monday, the Correspondent of Harvest Group of Educational Institutions, Mr. P. Ravi Maruth, and the Principal, Ms. R. Parvathi Reddy, congratulated the student and expressed their best wishes for her future endeavors. IIT branch in-charge Mr. G. Umamaheswara Rao also participated in the event.

Harvest Group of Educational Institutions announced on Saturday that their students showcased exceptional talent in the prestigious Dr. A.S. Rao Awards Council Science Talent Search Examination 2024, conducted annually to inspire interest and knowledge in science among students.

They mentioned that students from classes 9 and 10 across schools in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh participate in this examination. Students from Khammam district took part in the 34th Science Talent Search Exam Final Level held at Gautam Degree College, Khammam, on December 29. The examination included various questions related to Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.

The results of the exam, conducted on December 29, were released yesterday (Thursday, January 16). They revealed that their 10th-grade student K. Rishith and R. Lakshmi Sharvani secured the 4th position, P. Dheeraj and P. Josh Shadrak secured the 6th position, K. Sai Harshit achieved the 12th position, B. Chandana Priya the 14th position, P. Bhuvan and R. Rushwita the 17th position, and B. Himavarshini the 19th position. Out of 43 students selected across both Telugu states, 9 students from their school secured awards in the final round, which they described as commendable.

On Friday, Harvest Group of Educational Institutions Correspondent Mr. P. Ravi Maruth and Principal Mrs. R. Parvathi Reddy congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue their excellent performance in future exams. IIT branch in-charges Mr. G. Umamaheshwara Rao and Mr. K. Nagaraju, along with the science department teachers, participated in the event.
