These guys grew up listening to old school hard rock albums from the 60's, 70's and 80's and decided that to capture the warmth and awesome live tones Freight Train shows are known for, they'd have to record the old school way: using 2-inch analog tape and having the band playing live in the room together, no samples, click tracks or vocal tuning.
