Samaa is a record label from the heart of Asia founded in 2017 and is an addition to Digital Om Productions family. Inspired by the tolerance and heritage of the (Sufis), the name (Samaa) was chosen. (Samaa) literally means the exalted in a Sufi ceremony of dancing oneself into a state of trance and bliss and is the mystical merging with the divine, a journey of man's spiritual ascent through mind and love to perfection, deserting one's ego. A transformation process that leads to (Wajd), a trance-like state of ecstasy. Physically this state may include unexpected movements, agitation and a can lead to (Khamra), which means “spiritual drunkenness”. Samaa Records purely created out of love for psychedelic music and its culture.
