These are live-readings of some of my favorite short stories. Each of these is a tale that made some significant impression upon me in some way. In some cases, upon reflection, it is because they raise and examine some classic and existential philosophical issues for the reader, such as the nature and means of human happiness, the interplay between human freedom, chance, and causal determinism, or the reality of what goes beyond our senses.
During each session, after a few introductory words, I read the story in its entirety, then say a bit about what I particularly like about the story, and then go on to answer questions and address comments from the viewers.
I am considering also producing series of readings that would be spread out over the course of a week, concentrating on longer works
